Setup & sync
Remote custom connectors sync in from any Claude surface, account-level, tokens included. Desktop additionally runs machine-local setups — local MCP servers via claude_desktop_config.json and .mcpb Desktop Extensions — which stay on this machine and never sync to other surfaces or devices. 2026-06-28
